Lion's Gate 888 Ritual

You Will Need
1 Gold, Yellow or White candle
A small bowl of water
A crystal such as Citrine, Sunstone, Clear Quartz or Tiger's Eye
A piece of paper and pen
Optional: Frankincense, Cinnamon or Orange essential oil
Step 1 – Create Your Sacred Space
Light your candle and take a few slow, deep breaths.
Hold your crystal and say:
"I open my heart to the wisdom of this sacred portal. May only love, light and my highest good enter this space."
Step 2 – Release
On your paper, write down eight things you are ready to leave behind.
These might be:
Fear
Self-doubt
Limiting beliefs
Old habits
Worry
Past disappointments
Fold the paper away from you three times and safely burn it in a fireproof dish (or tear it into small pieces if you prefer).
As you release it, say:
"I honour what has brought me here. I now release all that no longer serves my highest path."
Step 3 – Manifest
Turn your paper over or use a fresh sheet.
Write eight intentions you wish to welcome into your life.
Think beyond money—include abundance in:
Health
Happiness
Love
Confidence
Creativity
Purpose
Peace
Spiritual growth
Read each intention aloud with gratitude, as though it is already unfolding.
Step 4 – Charge Your Intentions
Place your crystal on top of your intentions.
Dip your fingertips into the bowl of water and lightly touch your forehead, heart and hands.
Visualise golden light surrounding you, flowing through every part of your body.
Imagine each intention glowing brighter and moving out into the Universe.
Repeat three times:
"I trust divine timing.
I welcome abundance.
I step courageously into my highest path."
Step 5 – Close the Ritual
Spend a few quiet moments in meditation.
When you feel ready, thank the Universe, your guides, ancestors or deity—however you connect spiritually.
Blow out your candle with gratitude.
Keep your intentions somewhere safe until the next Lion's Gate Portal, or revisit them throughout the year to witness how your journey unfolds.
